I prefer to work with clients who have money problems or are being harassed by creditors.

Clients came to me one day before their house was being foreclosed on. I worked with them to file a Chapter 13 bankruptcy before the foreclosure, and we saved their house.
After filing a bankruptcy for a client who had a huge amount of debt, he gave me a model of Wrigley Field (I'm a Chicago Cubs fan) as a thank you gift.

Our firm focuses on clients who have financial problems.
A back problem, loss of job, health related issues, or domestic problems often lead to financial difficulties. Most of these problems are not our clients' fault. We try to help them through difficult and stressful situations.
I founded my firm in January 1990 after getting out of law school. Going to law school later in life gives me a perspective that the kids coming out of college lacked. I've always practiced law on my own and know a great deal about self-reliance and motivation.
Information coming soon.
From time to time, I do Pro Bono work for the Volunteer Lawyers project.
I think it's highly advisable for clients to know as much as possible about their rights under bankruptcy law and how the process works. It's part of our mission to educate the public regarding bankruptcy, what it means, and what it can and cannot do.
I will review documents for clients.
Bankruptcy attorneys are not allowed to coach people without putting their name on the representation.
I decided to become a lawyer because I wanted to help people.
I went to law school later in life and earlier served in the Peace Corps in Iran. Both of these experiences gave me an understanding of the problems people face and taught me to be non-judgmental.
Bankruptcy law was something I started doing right out of law school, and I found I got a great deal of satisfaction from helping people.
When people say thank you.
I am a sole practitioner, so all of my clients deal directly with me. I do all the work myself, so there are no secretaries or paralegals to get in the way of my relationships with my clients.
I am sensitive, understanding and compassionate, but can be aggressive and forthright to achieve the results that my clients desire.
I read a lot about the Civil War and like the Chicago Cubs.
