Firm Focus and History
Our focus is to provide client specific representation. We have a large resource of investigators, forensic specialists, and mental health experts to help prepare the best possible defense. We recognize that most clients have had little to no exposure to the criminal justice system.
The firm was started in 1998. We have represented clients in 11 different states and in federal jurisdictions throughout the country on charges ranging from murder, fraud, possession of controlled substance with the intent to deliver and child pornography.
Previous Employment Summary
My previous employment was as a criminal investigator. In this capacity I worked with attorneys, helping them formulate defense strategies for their cases.
What is your opinion regarding clients educating themselves on legal issues?
It is very helpful to have clients that are willing to educate themselves in regards to their legal issues.
Are you willing to review documents prepared by clients?
We will typically review client provided documents.
Are you willing to coach clients who want to represent themselves?
We do not second chair pro se clients. We believe in the saying "the lawyer who represents himself has a fool for a client."
Why did you decide to be a lawyer?
I decided to become a lawyer because early on I realized the best way to help people is by representing them when their government is trying to take their freedom and liberty.
What work experience and education helps you be a better lawyer?
I worked as a criminal investigator. This taught me how to build defense for very complex cases. I was also a bartender for many years and this taught me how to listen and communicate with people from all different walks of life.
Why did you decide on your primary area of practice?
I wanted to be able to help those who were being accused of crimes by the government. I have a David vs. Goliath mentality.
What do you like best about your career?
The satisfaction of getting our clients out of some very difficult situations.
Tell us about your law firm:
We are a small firm that has a team approach. With that said if a client has a special connection to a certain lawyer, then that lawyer will be the lead lawyer representing the client.

We pride ourselves in always being the best prepared lawyers in the court room.
