Example Cases

I handled a case last year where a woman was blinded in one eye from the airbags in an automobile collision. Kaiser said that the blindness was not related to the auto accident, which I was able to settle in court for $730,000.

We also handled a case for $3,000,000 where a woman was hit and killed at an intersection by a company truck.

In both these cases, I was able to get the medical bills waived.

Firm Focus and History

We have been in business for 37 years and only handle personal injury matters representing plaintiffs.

Our firm focuses on personal injury claims highlighting vehicular accidents.

Previous Employment Summary

I was trained by the insurance companies as an insurance adjuster and was also a medic in the army.

What is your opinion regarding clients educating themselves on legal issues?

Clients should seek self-education whenever possible.

Are you willing to review documents prepared by clients?

We will do whatever we have to do to figure out a solution for each case.

Are you willing to coach clients who want to represent themselves?

I give a lot of free advice about this every day. I'm willing to do so, depending on the circumstance.

Why did you decide to be a lawyer?

As an insurance adjuster, I saw that insurance companies weren't treating claimants fairly, so I decided to go to law school at night and use that training to help individuals with their cases against large insurance corporations.

What work experience and education helps you be a better lawyer?

I think the fact that I was an insurance adjuster and a medic in the military, as well as my experiences in a lot of blue collar odd jobs have helped me relate to the common man.

Why did you decide on your primary area of practice?

Having experience in the insurance field gave me a head-start on working within the insurance claims business. I decided to utilize my experience to help others.

What do you like best about your career?

I like the fact that I am my own boss, and that I am able to help the uneducated and those who couldn't normally afford a lawyer.

Tell us about your law firm:

Everyone here is congenial, friendly, and highly experienced; most people have been here for over ten years. We all like people and enjoy helping others.

What are your strengths and style?

Since we stick to one area of law, we take on cases both small and large within the field. This allows us to pursue our cases vigorously.

Personal Interests:

I enjoy traveling and reading.
