I have completed all continuing legal education requirements and have had additional education in estate planning and family law.
1987 contributor to the "Docket," the San Mateo Bar Association magazine.
I prepared a revocable living trust for a married couple, who both have children from previous marriages as well as from their current marriage. Each was able, in the event that he or she is the first to die, to divide the assets among the various children in a manner different from that selected by the other and still takes full advantage of the federal estate tax marital deduction and the unified credit against federal estate and gift taxes to reduce death taxes.

In addition to trust, will and estate planning, I represent individuals, and families regarding guardianship and conservatorship, probate, personal injury, family law, corporate matters, real estate, landlord and tenant, business formation, buying and selling of businesses, general business law and litigation, and wrongful death law.
I worked with Muth, Zanzinger & Johnston in San Mateo County from 1980 and thereafter with J. William Muth (deceased). In 1999, I became a solo practitioner.
I devote time to pro bono activities for which I have received recognition from the state and local bar associations and others.
I favor clients educating themselves as much as possible because it helps me assist them to understand the laws that affect their rights.
I will review documents that are prepared by clients. However, unless only minor changes are required, it is often more cost effective to redraft them for the client.
I am willing and have counseled many clients who want to represent themselves in my practice areas.
I found law interesting because it is so practical and wanted the opportunity to help people.
My business degree helps me with business clients and almost 27 years of experience helps me in all my practice areas.
I became a general practitioner which means that I do not specialize in any one area but concentrate on areas that affect most individuals, families and small businesses. I enjoy the variety of general practice which enables my clients to have one source for their legal needs.
Meeting and helping people.
I am a sole practitioner and work in an office with another lawyer and have a part time assistant.
I enjoy meeting with clients and try to put my clients at ease. I encourage my clients to call me with their questions and I enjoy trying to assist them. I have gained a broad experience in many areas of the law over 27 years.
Professional and friendly.
Reading, skiing, travel, and mountain biking with my sons.
