Our law office was established in June 1990. The firm has always represented individuals and business throughout the San Fernando Valley, Los Angeles, and the Antelope Valley areas.
Consumer and business bankruptcy Chapter 7 cases; Chapter 13 bankruptcy reorganization cases for individuals facing foreclosure, reviewing whether or not lien stripping mortgage debt and/or reducing automobile debt is available, repaying most tax debt penalty and interest free. We also represent individuals in dog bite cases, automobile and motorcycle accident cases, wrongful death cases and serious injury cases. Additionally, we handle family law cases involving contested child custody issues, child and spousal support issues and paternity cases.
I have been working for myself for the last 18 years.
Most seek out information on the legal matter they are dealing with before they come to see me. This has become easier with the internet.
I ask clients to assemble documents for our review at our initial consultation.
I provide a complete, detailed description of the client's matter and procedure. I am willing to assist those who want to represent themselves; and may represent clients pro bono when their needs are real, but they cannot afford legal representation.
I was a political science major and became fascinated with the law. I worked for several legal clinics and enjoyed helping others with their legal needs.
I worked for a top bankruptcy lawyer as a law clerk and a new associate handling bankruptcy matters. I worked with a top personal injury attorney who was a former defense attorney but then took plaintiff cases. I went through a contested divorce and can understand how the client feels and what he or she is going through from my own experiences.
I enjoy practicing bankruptcy law to help people eliminate debt and provide for their families, free from credit card debt; I like to help clients save their homes from potential foreclosure and in some cases reduce their mortgage payment debt.
I enjoy handling personal injury cases to help victims get the most from insurance companies that are reluctant or unwilling to pay the value of the case.
I enjoy practicing family law and using my personal experiences to help others eliminate fanning the flames of divorce, to help reach fast and equitable resolutions to custody, support and property issues at a fair fee.
The ability to help others with their legal needs.
I am a sole practitioner. My wife works as my office manager. My assistant has the most contact with our clients and makes sure each case runs smoothly. All three of us are dedicated to the needs of the people we represent.
My strength is telling clients in plain English about their case, speaking to them not at them. My other strength is being available for my clients and keeping them informed of their cases - especially through email. My other strength is being "hands-on", as all interviews for any case are with me personally.
My family.

Chapter 7 cases average between $1,500 and $3,500, depending on the individual case. Chapter 13 cases are $4,000 with $1,000 paid before filing. The balance of my fee is paid through the client's Chapter 13 plan. Family Law initial retainers range from $1,500 to $5,000 depending on the case, and are billed at $250 per hour. Personal injury cases are on contingency at 33 1/3% up to filing suit and 40% thereafter.
