Massachusetts does not require continuing legal education; however, I normally attend at least eight hours of continuing legal education in addition to keeping up with recent court decisions.
As a lawyer specializing in Divorce and Family Law, I handle a variety of cases. While the specifics of each case vary, the general principles do not. In all cases we are dealing with families who are trying to work through extremely difficult situations. I always try to get the most for my clients but remain mindful of the fact that their relationship with their children and other family members will continue long past the resolution of the case

After working in a variety of law firm settings, I established my own firm in 2005.
We focus on all types of Divorce and Family Law issues, ranging from child custody, parenting plans, child support, alimony, property division, adoptions, to guardianships, and Mediation.
I worked for a number of firms and was a partner in a law firm prior to starting my own in 2005.
We welcome our clients' input and encourage them to be as well informed as possible.
We will review certain documents prepared by clients.
We often help coach client's that are going through Divorce Mediation.
I decided to become a lawyer because I enjoy helping people and arguing on their behalf.
My years of experience as a lawyer, wife and working mother make me a better advocate for my clients, and able to understand their concerns.
I enjoy the personal relationships with clients, as well as negotiating with other attorneys and making my arguments in court.
I enjoy being compassionate with clients and aggressive with other attorneys.
While I try to be responsive to all my client's needs, my professional staff is here to help when my court schedule makes me unavailable.
My straight-forward approach allows my clients to maximize the benefits in their case in an expeditious manner.
I enjoy spending time with my husband and two young children.
