The Law Offices of Maite L. Diaz is a law firm dedicated to helping honest individuals in dealing with issues concerning debt including the possible loss of their homes. Our emphasis is helping people regain control over their financial lives, allowing them a fresh start after debt.
The Law Offices of Maite L. Diaz, P.A., located in Southwest Broward County, was founded with the goal of serving the local community in a client-centered manner. Our goal is to guide our clients through the seemingly dark waters of our legal system by taking the time to explain the legal processes they are facing in a language they can understand. We are proud to be Hispanic-owned and operated and to serve our clients in both English and Spanish.
I previously worked at the Law Offices of Richard Patino on civil litigation matters.
The more educated clients are on the legal matters they face, the easier it is to help them. This is why our office gives our prospective bankruptcy and foreclosure defense clients a free initial consultation.
I prefer to assist clients through complete representation; however, I may be willing to review client-prepared documents on an hourly fee basis.

Growing up in a working class immigrant household I became an advocate for my family at a very young age. I have always enjoyed helping people. Lawyering allows me to do just that.
Coming from a "regular" background allows me to understand the issues my clients are facing. At the Law Offices of Maite L. Diaz, P.A., our goal is not to judge clients in the midst of financial difficulties but to help them devise the best way possible to get their lives back on track. Our experience and education gives us the tools to do just that.
Our primary area of practice was chosen from the amount of need that there is for this type of work in our area. As a result, we can help a large segment of the community.
Helping people get their lives back on track.
All of our clients receive personalized attention from my staff and me. As we are a small law firm you will not be treated as a number but as a person. Our office works hard to attend to each client's individual needs.
We listen to our clients with a non-judgmental attitude. Our doors are always open to client's questions and concerns.
My free time is usually devoted to my children.
