Here are some highlights of the thousands of bankruptcy cases that I have successfully handled:
Argued three cases before the US Court of Appeals for the Second Circuit:
1. Musso vs. Ostashko, (http://www.law.com/jsp/nylj/PubArticleNY.jsp?id=900005466696) involved the complicated interplay between divorce and bankruptcy. On appeal, I successfully proved the assets belonged to the bankruptcy trustee, not to the spouse who had been awarded them by the state court.
2. Represented a debtor in a case against Caesar's Palace Casino, (http://www.nybankruptcy.net/CM/Custom/Consumernews.asp), not only discharging his gambling debt, but forcing the casino to pay fees for violating the automatic stay.
3. Fisher case: (link to: In re Fischer , 53 Fed. Appt. 129, 2002 WL 31505620 (2nd Cir. NY). Trustee case involving multiple parcels of real estate and complex issues.

If your phone rings all day long with calls from creditors, it's probably time to consult an experienced bankruptcy attorney. Rosenberg, Musso & Weiner can help you stop those harassing phone calls and start a new life, debt free.
Our focus is helping individuals and small business with bankruptcy and debt problems.
The law offices of Rosenberg, Musso & Weiner, L.L.P., was founded in New York over 60 years ago. We are bankruptcy lawyers, first and foremost. We have long served the needs of clients who have suffered because of circumstances beyond their control (job loss, divorce, inability to work due to injury or illness), or who have made a single bad financial decision (invested in a bad stock, gambling, or a business collapse).
Our law office has won the day for our clients many times. You can visit our bankruptcy articles page: http://www.nybankruptcy.net/CM/Custom/Consumernews.asp to learn how partner Bruce Weiner won a $160,000 award for his client when a creditor violated the automatic stay.
Call us at (718) 530-0210 or 1-866-402-8476 to arrange an initial consultation and find out what we can do for you. Or contact us by e-mail to give us more information about your concerns.
I have been practicing bankruptcy law since I was admitted to the bar in 1978. In addition to my 30 years of experience representing debtors, creditors and those being sued by bankruptcy trustees, I have been involved in hundreds of trustee litigation cases since I joined Rosenberg Musso & Weiner in 1994. I am known for caring client representation, thinking fast on my feet, my ability to handle complex cases, attention to detail, excellent writing skills and courtroom demeanor, and tenacity.

believe it is important that clients understand about bankruptcy and the process that goes with it. This is why we provide information on our website and answer all clients' questions.
If it's financial documents relevant to their situation, I would review them and often find them helpful in putting together bankruptcy schedules.
Bankruptcy is complex, especially after the recent changes. It is difficult to navigate the process without being an attorney. In addition, there are ethical issues with giving legal advice to someone who is not your client
I want to help people with their problems, and I enjoy the intellectual challenge of the law and using statutes and cases to solve issues.
I've been practicing bankruptcy law for close to 30 years and I always keep up to date on changes in bankruptcy law.
I began my career as an associate to a bankruptcy attorney and found this area of law to be both interesting and challenging.
Bankruptcy law gives me the opportunity to help people with their real life problems, whether it is helping individuals, families drowning in debt, or businesses that need reorganization to survive. Many people come to us who have been struggling with their bills for several years, and we're able to help them to get out of debt and have a fresh start.
We have three attorneys and one of our attorneys is a bankruptcy trustee, which gives us the ability to look at cases from both sides of the table. All clients meet with attorneys and not support staff. We have two full-time secretaries and one part-time clerk. All of our staff members understand the bankruptcy process and take care of the needs of our clients, including dealing with creditors, stopping garnishments, and releasing attachments on bank accounts.
My strengths are in my understanding of the law and complex legal issues, and a personal commitment to helping my clients.
I enjoy reading, cultural activities, running and sports.
