All California Courts, United States District Court, 9th Circuit Court of Appeals and United States Supreme Court.
California State Bar Association and San Bernardino County Bar Association.
I attend continuing legal education seminars in my special areas of law. I read law journals and books in my areas of practice. I keep up with current issues and have always exceeded the required amount of continuing education hours.
I have handled hundreds of family law matters from divorce, custody, support, modifying orders or terminating orders, domestic violence matters, conservatorship, guardianships, adoptions, and other areas of family law over my years of practice. In one case, I obtained a $380,000 judgment against a non-paying dad and collected it by writ of execution freezing his assets. It was the largest single collection in the County at that time. On the other hand I defended a dad against the County for non-payment of County-owed money. He was freed of a $90,000 debt which he could not afford to pay nor would ever be likely to pay.

I established my law firm in San Bernardino in 1998 where I have been active serving the local community in my areas of specialty. Over such time I have built a good relationship with judges, opposing attorneys, and other court professionals. I believe it is important to know the local judges and how they feel about certain issues in planning how we approach your case. I believe my clients have a right to expect their attorney to be responsive to their needs and communicate with them openly and honestly. I understand that a divorce, a death in the family, or other personal issues which may have brought you to me are stressful. In many cases, you may never have had to hire a lawyer before. I know that you are nervous about the outcome of your case, your future, and how much your attorney and court fees will be.
When we meet to discuss your case, we will make everything clear. You have enough on your mind without worrying about whether your lawyer is being honest with you.
I began practicing law in 1995 working with the San Bernardino County Public Defender while finishing law school. I began my career as a lawyer in Riverside, California in 1997 working for an established law firm, and a year later opened my own firm in San Bernardino, California where I still practice to date.
I focus on serving San Bernadino County and Riverside County and specialize in all areas of Family Law and Probate Law, with the main focus being Family Law.
I believe everyone is entitled to quality representation and work hard to make our services available to all. I am dedicated to providing quality legal representation while easing the stress my clients may suffer because of their legal concerns. I believe it is my responsibility to provide honest, aggressive legal representation, as I work hard to resolve your legal matters within a reasonable amount of time while being very sensitive to your budget.
I was employed as an educator and an insurance agent before becoming an attorney.
I served as Judge Pro Tem for the Superior Court of California, County of San Bernardino.
I believe it is important for clients to fully understand the nature of their cases and their options in reaching a successful conclusion.
I encourage my clients to bring documents with them at the time of the first meeting for review to help determine relevant legal issues.
I have always been willing to assist with a pro per and I offer paralegal services to assist.
I have always wanted to help make a difference in people's lives. This profession allows me to use all my skills and talents toward benefitting others and is very rewarding.

I enjoy family law because I am well suited by education, life experiences, and the genuine love I have for making a difference in people's lives. I am willing to persevere on my client's behalf to help the court reach the correct conclusion.
I like being an active part of the judicial system. I am in court nearly every day and enjoy the challenges of this fast-paced life style. I enjoy reading cases, reviewing law, and applying my client's facts to what I learn in presenting legal arguments.
I am a solo practitioner, so all of my clients deal directly with me. I also have an experienced, well-seasoned paralegal and a legal secretary. They are both very knowledgeable and sensitive to the needs of clients.
I am aggressive, but fair and will work to prevail.
My family, church, travel and my career.

I generally charge $50 for a full review of the client's case. I do not charge for probate issues.
My retainer is based on the nature and complexity of the legal issues and the amount of time I expect it will take to reach a conclusion. I try to work within my clients' budgets and I hear my fees are lower than most other attorneys of my skill level.
