Firm Focus and History

J. Miller & Associates war founded by Attorney Jeremey Miller in Concord, NH, in October of 2000 and added an additional office in Midcoast Maine in 2009.

J. Miller & Associates, PLLC prides itself on representing New England's businesses, their owners, employees and families in all aspects of their legal needs.

Previous Employment Summary

While attending law school, I served as a law clerk for a law firm, learning through "hands-on experience" how to handle client files, perform effective legal research and how to properly represent the client's best interests.

Activities and Awards

Certified Arbitrator by the Better Business Bureau of America.

What is your opinion regarding clients educating themselves on legal issues?

An informed client is a better client.

Are you willing to review documents prepared by clients?

We are happy to assist clients on a "limited service" basis by tailoring our services to their specific set of needs.

Are you willing to coach clients who want to represent themselves?

We are happy to assist clients on a "limited service" basis by tailoring our services to their specific needs.

Why did you decide to be a lawyer?

I became an attorney in order to assist people in difficult situations. I find it interesting to be able to advise and guide a client through often complex and difficult legal issues.

What work experience and education helps you be a better lawyer?

My background in business, as well as my experience in opening my own firm and taking it all the way through the early "growing pains" associated with any small business, has made me more aware of all aspects of the practice of law.

Why did you decide on your primary area of practice?

It was a conscious decision to practice in this field from the very beginning of my career. I took courses in these areas in law school, and sought out positions at the beginning of my career in these fields. I enjoy the intellectual stimulation and complexity of these types of matters.

What do you like best about your career?

I most like the opportunity to assist my clients in all aspects of their legal needs and be able to be the one place they know they will be able to get assistance regardless of what their issue may be.

Tell us about your law firm:

We have a highly effective and experienced staff of attorneys who are well-suited in each of their practice areas to provide the assistance that a client needs. Our support staff and assistants are far and away the most efficient and helpful of any I have encountered. This combination makes for a full-service team of remarkable efficiency and skill.

What are your strengths and style?

My strength in style, I believe, is my hands-on approach to all matters combined with the knowledge and ability to delegate the needs of the individual client to those who can best serve them both professionally and personally.

Personal Interests:

My family is my number one interest first and foremost. My wife and kids are the reason we do what we do and my spare time is spent enjoying the activities we all enjoy.
