We focus on providing personalized legal service to individuals in need of representation. We try to simplify the legal process and make it understandable to clients so they may focus on the family affected by the process and make the most informed decisions.

What is your opinion regarding clients educating themselves on legal issues?
Only through proper education can clients make an informed decision about their course of action.

Why did you decide to be a lawyer?
I started in medicine, but found that I spent all of my time advocating for my patient's rights. It was at that time that legal advocacy found me.
What work experience and education helps you be a better lawyer?
We are young, bright and personable.
We have the energy to fight and the experience to know when and how to fight. (Screaming at the other side rarely gets anything accomplished.) Our passion makes us convincing advocates and our work ethic allows us to be thorough. Our experience in settlement and extensive education in ADR gives us the tools to effectuate very difficult settlements.
We can relate to being scared and confused while trying to navigate through a difficult legal system without guidance. This experience gives us insight into effectively communicating with clients and ensuring that they know what is going on at every step of their case.
Why did you decide on your primary area of practice?
We practice law that we know and law about which we are PASSIONATE.
What do you like best about your career?
The satisfaction of effectuating a result and closure for our clients.
Tell us about your law firm:
Although we have an amazing legal team of paralegals and secretaries, who are very knowledgeable, each attorney tries to deal with his or her clients directly. We pride ourselves on providing the personalized service of a solo practitioner with bigger firm resources.
What are your strengths and style?
My style is low-key and understated. Although I know how to fight, not every situation calls for a huge bark. Some situations actually require and benefit from opposing counsel working together to effectuate resolution. Other situations require counsel to be aggressive and to fight. Regardless of what the situation calls for, I find it important to maintain integrity and rise above pettiness at all times. In my opinion, legal professionals should avoid engaging in name calling, threats, or other attacks that do nothing to further their client's cause.
My greatest strengths are my courtroom presence, my negotiation abilities, my knowledge of the law, and my ability to make creative (but legally sound) arguments.

I love the arts (art, music, theatre); volunteering within the community; running marathons; working out; and traveling.
