I have been practicing criminal defense for over 14 years. I have been in private practice for most of that time. The Law Offices of Stephen P. Naratil was formed in May of 2008.

The focus of my law firm is concerned with representing people who have been accused of committing a criminal act. We handle no other kinds of cases. It is our belief that everyone, no matter the situation or the crime charged, deserves to be represented by the very best, and at my law firm, all of our clients get the very best representation possible.

Prior to forming the Law Offices of Stephen P. Naratil, I was the Managing Partner for Summit Defense, a Criminal Defense Law firm.

I think it is a good thing to be educated in all areas of life, but especially in areas where it is impacting your life.

Why did you decide to be a lawyer?

I became a lawyer because I wanted to help people who are in trouble.

What work experience and education helps you be a better lawyer?

Meeting with clients, talking with my clients and understanding them as people helps me to be a better lawyer.

Why did you decide on your primary area of practice?

I chose criminal defense, because it is the best way to help people who face the wrath of the government. There is nothing more frightening than being accused of criminal acts and facing long terms of imprisonment.

What do you like best about your career?

What I like best is being able to help people get through very difficult situations in their lives. I like being able to use my knowledge and experience to help people.

Tell us about your law firm:

Each member of my staff is is experienced and are consummate professionals. The entire firm will take all the time necessary to answer your questions in detail.

What are your strengths and style?

My strengths are within my ability to communicate with the jury at trial and negotiate with the judge and prosecutor.

I enjoy spending time with my family, sports, music, reading and outdoors.
