Firm Focus and History

With eight attorneys and four office locations throughout Northern Virginia and Richmond, Livesay & Myers, P.C. brings considerable resources to bear in assisting personal injury victims. However, our lawyers believe in providing individual attention to each of our clients. Thus, with our firm, your accident case will be handled personally by one of the partners—not merely by an associate attorney or a paralegal. With Livesay & Myers, P.C., you will never be "just a number," as you may be with some of the mega-firms, or with the insurance company.

Livesay & Myers, P.C. opened its first office in Woodbridge, Virginia in March 2003, and followed with offices in Fredericksburg, Fairfax and Richmond, Virginia.

The firm has continued to grow since 2003, relocating its Fredericksburg office to a large, new building downtown in July 2008.

Previous Employment Summary

Prior to forming Livesay & Myers, P.C. in March 2003, I worked as an associate attorney at Osborne & Craig, P.L.C. in Manassas, Virginia.

What is your opinion regarding clients educating themselves on legal issues?

It is beneficial for clients to educate themselves before their initial consultation with a personal injury lawyer.

Are you willing to review documents prepared by clients?

I am certainly willing if it is relevant to the case.

Are you willing to coach clients who want to represent themselves?

That would not be in the client's best interest in a personal injury case. The insurance company will not take you seriously until you retain an attorney. Without a lawyer, you are not really prepared to take legal action against the insurance company, and are therefore not a threat to them. However, with an experienced law firm on your side, you can receive the compensation for your injury that you deserve.

Why did you decide to be a lawyer?

I wanted to take part in a challenging and satisfying profession.

What work experience and education helps you be a better lawyer?

My years of experience in auto accident and wrongful death law, and my years of experience working for people, not insurance companies or corporations, enable me to be a better personal injury lawyer.

Why did you decide on your primary area of practice?

I like having the chance to meet and work with a lot of great people.

What do you like best about your career?

I like having the chance to meet and work with a lot of great people.

With Livesay & Myers, P.C., you will never be "just a number," as you may be with some of the mega-firms, or with the insurance company.
