Example Cases

In one case that 4 other law firms rejected, the client had suffered serious injuries in a car accident with disputed liability. I was able to settle with the defendant insurance company for more than $650,000, which was put in a structured settlement that would pay my client over $1.9 million over his lifetime.

Another case involved a passenger on a cruise line who became sick and then fell into a coma. I went to Greece to take 8 depositions from the Captain, Cruise Line President, Ship Designer and others. We found enough circumstantial evidence to show e-coli poisoning must have caused the serious injuries and settled with the Cruise Line for over $600,000.

Another case rejected by 6 law firms involved police brutality, in which we tracked down, through a lengthy investigation, a viable witness. We settled in court against the city for over $1.2 million dollars put into a structured settlement to pay my client over $2.6 million for his future care and medical bills.

Firm Focus and History

We have been helping people for the past 30 years in personal injury matters to obtain maximum compensation against insurance companies. We offer our clients, whether a large or small case, experienced and aggressive legal representation so that each client can obtain the best financial resolution available. I personally meet with every client and we pride ourselves on providing personal attention to every client.

We specialize in handling auto, motorcycle, pedestrian, bicycle, boat, train, plane, dog bites and animal attacks, slip and fall, defective product, construction site accidents, scars, fractures, herniated discs, soft tissue and wrongful death injuries that occur from them. As part of our service we negotiate either waivers or significant reductions of the medical bills and insurance reimbursements for our clients. We also advance all the legal costs from the case on our client's behalf.

Previous Employment Summary

Prior to opening my own offices I was a law clerk for the President of the Orange County Trial Lawyers Association where I obtained an immense amount of knowledge in how to successfully operate an office and represent injured individuals.

What is your opinion regarding clients educating themselves on legal issues?

Clients should always educate themselves on the law whenever possible. I believe it helps clients understand the complexity of their situations and what the key issues are.

Are you willing to review documents prepared by clients?

Because we charge a contingency fee, it is difficult to review documents prepared by clients. However, we are always willing to discuss your situation over the phone, since there is no charge for the consultation.

Are you willing to coach clients who want to represent themselves?

I have, and am willing to, assist clients when we can on how to proceed in small claims matters and save money on attorney fees.

Why did you decide to be a lawyer?

Originally I wanted to become a United States Senator to help people, so I went to Law School. However, when it became apparent that most politicians seem to "deal under the table," and are not very honest or trustworthy, I decided instead to fight for people against the Insurance Industry. Most insurance companies didn't seem to compensate individuals fairly for injuries, loss of wages, or other effects on quality of life following accidents. I wanted people to get the financial compensation they deserved.

What work experience and education helps you be a better lawyer?

While putting myself through college and law school, I worked full time, and usually had more then one job. I have always been an aggressive, "A Type" personality, and set high goals for myself. So I started a business while in college and law school, which gave me real world life experience and the opportunity to interact with a wide range of working individuals. I matured more then the typical college graduate which has helped me in successfully representing injured individuals.

Why did you decide on your primary area of practice?

It is extremely satisfying to help injured individuals obtain fair compensation against large, well-funded, un-sympathetic insurance companies.

What do you like best about your career?

I thoroughly enjoy meeting and interacting with people. I get immense satisfaction out of getting clients financial compensation for their injuries, wage loss and other out of pocket expenses when they were not at fault.

Tell us about your law firm:

I have a small firm that prides itself on giving personal attention to each client. I personally meet with injured clients at a branch office or coffee shop—wherever is convenient to them. My support staff have been with me for years and are invaluable to the firm. They interact with our clients and keep cases moving when I am out of the office doing depositions or court hearings, trials or mediations. Our clients constantly commend my wonderful support staff because they feel so comfortable with them.

What are your strengths and style?

I am committed, results-oriented and use creativity to find a solution to maximize financial result for my clients. I do not leave any stone unturned in cases that I handle.

Personal Interests:

I enjoy spending time with my family. I have been married for over 30 years, and have two married daughters, and one son in College. We are a very close-knit family.

I am the ultimate sports fanatic and travel the country to see all major sporting events possible in Boxing, UFC-Mixed Martial Arts, Football, Baseball and Hockey. I have coached youth soccer, softball and little league teams for 14 years. I was on the board of directors for the leagues for over 6 years, and sponsored several youth teams.
