Our firm started in 1997 in Chicago, Illinois. We have a large and diverse staff comprising many ethnicities, backgrounds and life experiences.

Over the years we have grown to be one of the largest consumer bankruptcy firms in the US. What is your opinion regarding clients educating themselves on legal issues?

Other than general understandings, it is not advisable for clients to attempt to educate themselves in terms of legal issues. This presents a challenge since we often have to re-educate clients on the details of specific legal issues.

I am always willing to look as a common courtesy.

Clients who want to represent themselves need legal representation.

Why did you decide to be a lawyer?

I decided to become a lawyer because it's a helping profession.

My walk with the Lord informs my ethics.

I chose this area of practice because it is a means of serving those in dire straits.
