Kratter & Gustafson, LLC was established January 1, 2005. The law office of Mark M. Kratter was established July 1, 1993. Our firm focuses on professional service to our clients in the areas of bankruptcy, criminal and family law.
Prior to becoming a lawyer, I worked as an electrical engineer from 1985 to 1992.
I have received Certificates of Appreciation from the U.S. Bankruptcy Court and have received awards for pro bono services.
I feel that an informed client usually makes the best decisions. I am in favor of client's educating themselves.
I am unwilling to review documents prepared by clients.
I am unwilling to coach clients who want to represent themselves.
I became a lawyer because I knew I would be good at it. I also believed that this would be a fulfilling career choice.
I believe that being a husband and a father of four children helps me be a better lawyer because I am used to helping others solve their everyday problems.
I chose bankruptcy as my primary area of practice because I excelled in the bankruptcy law courses that I took. Also, as a degreed electrical engineer, I am trained to work with technical information.
I like the fact that I help my clients to solve some of their most difficult and detailed problems.
My assistant, Angela, is very friendly and efficient. She speaks three languages and focuses on customer service. Our clients enjoy working with her.
I am straightforward and honest. I tell my clients what I can achieve for them and then achieve their goals.
I love to go fishing and scuba diving. I am a family man who loves to spend time with my wife and four children.
Angela.
