Kratter & Gustafson, LLC was established January 1, 2005. The law office of Mark M. Kratter was established July 1, 1993. Our firm focuses on professional service to our clients in the areas of bankruptcy, criminal and family law.

I feel that an informed client usually makes the best decisions. I am in favor of client's educating themselves.

Why did you decide to be a lawyer?

I became a lawyer because I knew I would be good at it. I also believed that this would be a fulfilling career choice.

What work experience and education helps you be a better lawyer?

I believe that being a husband and a father of four children helps me be a better lawyer because I am used to helping others solve their everyday problems.

Why did you decide on your primary area of practice?

I chose bankruptcy as my primary area of practice because I excelled in the bankruptcy law courses that I took. Also, as a degreed electrical engineer, I am trained to work with technical information.

What do you like best about your career?

I like the fact that I help my clients to solve some of their most difficult and detailed problems.

My assistant, Angela, is very friendly and efficient. She speaks three languages and focuses on customer service. Our clients enjoy working with her.

What are your strengths and style?

I am straightforward and honest. I tell my clients what I can achieve for them and then achieve their goals.
