We were established in February, 1980, and have been helping people for 28 years. Over that time, we have helped thousands of people and businesses alike protect their assets and homes in bankruptcy cases and other areas of legal representation.
We focus on making quality legal services available to the general public at affordable prices. It is our goal to enhance access to the court system for those of modest means. We insist on professional service from a caring staff to guide our clients through the legal process. We have a great deal of experience in avoiding foreclosure on homes and commercial properties. Avoiding the necessity of bankruptcy is our first goal.

I have always worked for myself as a partner or sole practitioner of law.
We think that an educated client can be a valuable asset in attaining the best results. We take all the time necessary to explain the legal process and applicable laws in a given case. As such, our clients have a thorough understanding of the law and procedures needed to attain their goals.
We are happy to review documents prepared by clients in the interest of helping them attain the best possible results in their case.
We are always happy to assist clients who prefer to represent themselves for a reasonable fee.
I became a lawyer because I enjoy problem-solving. Each case requires puzzle pieces to be assembled with a clear strategy and goal in mind.
Prior to law school, I was a professional magician. This provided me with great insight as to the working of the human mind and in managing complex situations and skeptical opponents.
I have always liked bankruptcy and real estate. These areas often over-lap in the area of distressed real estate law. I find it very rewarding to be able to get real relief for clients from the Bankruptcy Court, unlike other areas of practice that are purely adversarial.
I wanted to help people. It is that simple. Obtaining a great result where everyone wins gives me a great feeling of accomplishment.
For many years I was in a partnership, but for the past 15 years I have been a solo practitioner. I prefer this because I am solely responsible for assisting my clients, many of whom become friends. I personally hire and train my assistants who are caring about the needs of every client.
I have been described as very down-home, casual and clever in my style of practice before various courts. I have been described by an opponent as disarmingly simple, but dangerous in court.
My personal interests are western horsemanship, fishing and camping, study of the magical arts, wine collecting and car collecting.
