Our law firm was established in 1989.

Previous Employment Summary

I graduated from law school in 1985 and took the bar exams in West Virginia and Pennsylvanian in 1986. I have been working as an attorney since 1986. Before attending law school in 1983, I was a college student working on A.S., B.S. and M.S. degrees. My work during college consisted of labor and retail. While in law school I clerked for a law firm in Michigan. After being admitted to practice law I was employed by a law firm as a real estate attorney. I have been an adjunct professor at Wheeling Jesuit College and an administrative hearing examiner for West Virginia State Workers' Compensation. I have had my solo practice since 1989.

I am an officer of the Ohio County Bar Association.

What is your opinion regarding clients educating themselves on legal issues?

People should be well-informed consumers. Educating oneself on legal issues is important.

No.

Why did you decide to be a lawyer?

The thing that is important is that our firm really cares about our clients and we take extraordinary measures to see that they are informed and advised on what is in their best interest.

What work experience and education helps you be a better lawyer?

I have practiced law since 1986. We continue to attend classes and seminars in order to represent our clients.

Why did you decide on your primary area of practice?

It is important to be able to make a significant difference in people's lives, and we have found that by practicing bankruptcy law, that we are able to help people get their lives back.

What do you like best about your career?

We like making an impact on improving the quality of life that people achieve after bankruptcy.

I am a solo practitioner. Clients deal directly with me or my paralegal. We have a wealth of knowledge and we are sensitive to the varying needs of our clients.
