This law firm was started by three women in 1991 and was the largest all-female law firm in Connecticut. We were not focused on the all-mighty billable hour and wanted to give our employees a good working environment along with reasonable representation for our clients. One of my partners became a judge in 1994 and then in 2001, the other became a judge. I have no desire to be a judge and have been on my own since 2001 continuing the philosophy we had when this all started.
The main focus of our firm is our clients. We aim to give them good legal representation at a reasonable price.

Previously, I worked as a partner in Wetstone & D'Ambrosio from 1991 until 2000. From 1986 to 1990 I was an associate attorney with Friedle, Madorin & Ustach, and later an associate with Reiner & Reiner.
Education is always good. However, you should never replace it with the experience and knowledge of an attorney.
I am willing to review documents prepared by clients.
I am not willing to coach clients who want to represent themselves.
After four years of working as a paralegal, I decided that I wanted to do more challenging work. After making this decision, I went back to college and law school.
Working as a legal assistant helped me understand all aspects of being an attorney.
I find it interesting to help people through the trauma of family issues in court. However, I like being able to find different ways to keep people out of court.
I like the fact that being a lawyer is not the same every day. There are always different challenges to face.
My firm consists of my assistant Tanya, who is also a paralegal, and I.
I focus on the client and not on the money. I spend my time trying to help the clients for the least amount of attorney's fees. I try not to be too formal unless it is necessary. I am down to earth and I find that makes the client more comfortable.
I like to read, play golf and go to the beach. I enjoy spending time with my grandson.
Tanya.
