Firm Focus and History

My firm's history dates back to 1951, when William C. Murphy and Robert Hupp joined Frank Reid, Jr., and Lambert Ochsenschlager to form Reid, Ochsenschlager, Murphy & Hupp. Over the years, the firm grew and evolved to become one of the most prominent Illinois law firms outside of Chicago. We continue to prosper sixty years later by respecting both the past and the future.

Kinnally, Flaherty, Krentz & Loran is one of the premier law firms in the Chicagoland area. We have over a century's worth of experience and expertise in these select practice groups: personal injury & wrongful death, general & commercial litigation, workers' compensation, immigration & citizenship, business counseling and estate planning.

Our lawyers carry on a distinguished legacy of integrity and exceptional advocacy that both defines us and sets us apart. Our success is reflected in the difference we have made to countless people through a relentless pursuit of justice, record-setting multi-million dollar verdicts, and progressive changes in the law.

We are leaders in the community, bar associations and legal education. We have received the highest peer rating for skill and integrity, and many of our attorneys have been designated Leading Lawyers and Super Lawyers, signifying that they are among the top five percent of all Illinois lawyers in personal injury, general & commercial litigation and workers' compensation.

We provide the expertise, resources and facilities of a big city firm without the inconvenience and impersonality of downtown Chicago. We practice throughout the State of Illinois and outside Illinois in select cases.

We care passionately about people and the problems they face. We welcome the opportunity to help you in any of our specialty areas.
