I have had my own practice since 1981. Before that I worked with an immigration attorney for five years.
I am a speaker at advanced immigration seminars throughout the United States, Canada, and Puerto Rico under the auspices of the American Immigration Lawyers Association, Practicing Law Institute, California State Bar, and various other bar associations. I have been an Adjunct Professor, teaching Immigration and Nationality Law at the University of San Francisco Law School and the McGeorge School of Law. I also speak at various community events.
Additionally, I am included in the Best Lawyers in America (Seventh edition), An International Who's Who of Corporate Immigration Lawyers, Who's Who in American Law (Ninth Edition), Who's Who in Executives and Professionals (1999-2000 edition), and National Registry of Who's Who (life member) and Strathmore's Who's Who (life member) and Northern California Super Lawyers.
I encourage people who call my office to first read the information which is contained in my website, because it contains a lot of information and may answer their questions without having to call an attorney.
For malpractice insurance reasons, I do not review forms prepared by individuals. However, I will answer any specific questions about the form(s) that a person may have.
Yes. I do this all the time.
I enjoy helping people and assisting them in accomplishing their goals in life.
We have an exceptionally high approval rate due to the fact that not only do we have expertise in immigration law, but we spend the extra time necessary in order to maximize the probability of success.
Prior to practicing law, I lived in a foreign country for a year and people frequently had immigration questions. At the time, I thought it was simply a matter of anyone coming to the United States who wanted to. I quickly learned that this was not the case and decided to assist people in their attempts to come to the U.S.
I enjoy the fact that I have the opportunity to be exposed to many and diverse cultures.
We are comprised of four immigration lawyers who enjoy working with persons from other countries. We are best known for our expertise and outstanding success rate. Our firm is AV rated by Martindale Hubble which is the highest rating a law firm can achieve.
I focus solely on immigration law and am called an expert by other experienced immigration attorneys. I am looked to nationwide as an expert in business immigration and frequently consulted by other immigration attorneys.
While I am a nationally known expert, I have a very informal style. I have the ability to make clients feel comfortable with what can often be a lengthy immigration process.
I have four sons and a wife, whom I am always spending time with. I like to water-ski, snow ski and travel.
