Example Cases
On a regular basis we handle contested divorce and custody cases. We just resolved a custody dispute in regards to the mother (opposing counsel) trying to get a move away order to take their child to Chicago. After a year and a half of ongoing disputes, the judge ruled in our client's favor (of the child staying in Sacramento County).

The focus of our firm is to help clients resolve their family law problems.
Our firm was established five years ago. Since then, we have had countless successes in helping clients resolve their issues. Our firm is centered in a family environment.

Since admitted to the Bar, I worked in the Netherlands as a corporate law attorney. I am also a registered solicitor in England.

What is your opinion regarding clients educating themselves on legal issues?
Some of our favorite clients are those who are well-versed in their legal rights and who, by knowing the laws, have a more realistic perspective of the case and understand what goals are attainable.

We are more than happy to look over clients' documents to help it be more presentable to the court.

We would be happy to help guide "pro-per" clients in the right direction.
Why did you decide to be a lawyer?
I decided to become a lawyer to help people with their legal needs.
What work experience and education helps you be a better lawyer?
I have a lot of experiences in many different types of law and those experiences prove valuable when clients have complex cases that can't be pinpointed in one form of law or another.
Why did you decide on your primary area of practice?
The legal field always has opportunities for work, and in college family law stood out to me.
What do you like best about your career?
I do enjoy learning about other people's cultures and learning new perspectives about various situations.

I have one assistant and her name is Taylor Muir. She is well-versed in family law matters and living trusts. She takes care of the clients' needs and interests wonderfully.
What are your strengths and style?
My case strengths are in divorce and custody. I have an aggressive style.

I enjoy travel, sports and essentially life in general. I don't know, it's hard to say.
