Wisecup Law Office was established in January of 2008 and provides compassionate legal representation to all clients. Every attorney will establish, through continuous client communication, a genuine interest in the client and a thorough understanding of their position and objectives. Every attorney will, through zealous and aggressive representation, personal attention and professional diligence, meet or exceed the client's expectations.
Previously, I practiced for two years at Arthur, Chapman, Kettering, Smetak, & Pikala, an insurance defense firm located in Minneapolis, MN.
I am a member of NACBA (National Association of Consumer Bankruptcy Attorneys). I will be serving as the Co-Chair for the Hennepin County Bar Association's New Lawyers Section for the 2008-2009 year. I attended Peter Barry's FDCPA boot camp in September 2007 and plan on attending Max O. Gardener III's Bankruptcy Boot camp in the fall of this year.
A client that has taken the time to become aware of their legal issues is easier to advise and assist through the process.
I am willing to review documents that are self-prepared.
I am willing to assist people that want to represent themselves with basic information about where they can do research and obtain more information. Giving legal advice without actually representing the client can lead to increased liability and malpractice claims.
I decided to become a lawyer so that I could assist people with their legal needs and concerns.
I am also a registered nurse who can assist my clients' legal, emotional, physical and spiritual needs. I decided to open my own practice because I wanted to develop a new kind of law practice born out of my ideals and experiences in caring for people who need help.
Financial difficulties can be extremely stressful. But, with a well-designed game plan and a strong, trustworthy and dedicated advocate, clients can experience immediate relief and can get back to living their lives.
I love all of it. I am never bored and I wake up each morning looking forward to my workday. I think I like my career so much because I get to be not only an attorney but also an advocate and a counselor. I receive benefits everyday, just in knowing that I was able to assist my client through one of the toughest situations that life could throw at them.
I am a solo practitioner who is attentive to all of my clients' immediate needs.
I strive to provide compassionate, personalized attention while being direct in providing an assessment of the case based upon my experience and knowledge. Clients will deal with me, not a secretary, associate or paralegal. The decision to file bankruptcy is often difficult and even heart-wrenching. I attempt to guide clients through the process and help them to focus on their future.
I enjoy fishing, bowling and music. I remain active by coaching and cheering my children to victory in baseball, football, bowling and wrestling.
