I prefer to handle probate wills and administrations, probate litigation, and letters of testamentary and administration.

I attend continuing legal education seminars on the topic of probate.
I have handled a will contesting case where I represented a minor child against a wife from a second marriage. I secured a several hundred thousand dollar settlement, whereas the child would have received nothing otherwise.
I worked on an estate challenge case whereby I recovered several hundred thousand dollars for the heirs against an attempt by one of the heirs to fraudulently convey property to themselves at the exclusion of the other family members.

We focus on probate administrations, probate wills, will contests, will challenges, estate challenges as well as divorce law matters.
I have been a solo practitioner for 8 years.
I worked for Arthur Andersen, LLP from 1999 to 2000. After that experience I started my own practice.
I believe educating yourself is always a good idea, but representing yourself is foolish.
I am not interested in reviewing documents prepared by clients.
No, I am not willing to coach clients.
I was steered towards becoming a lawyer after taking a debate class in high school.
I have an international education and have worked for corporate America, prior to becoming a lawyer with Arthur Andersen, as an accountant.
I chose this area of practice because I was interested in the Howard Marshall Estate involving Anna Nicole Smith.
The best thing about my career is helping loved ones adjust to life after a death has occurred.
I am a solo practitioner, so all of my clients deal directly with me.
I am friendly and patient. I am also prompt in responding to client inquiries.
I enjoy spending time with my family and Longhorn sports.
