The National Association of Consumer Bankruptcy Attorneys (NACBA), the Neighborhood Assistance Corporation of America (NACA), and the St. Petersburg Bar Association.
I attend national consumer law education workshops by the National Association of Consumer Bankruptcy Attorneys (NACBA) and the Neighborhood Assistance Corporation of America (NACA) for bankruptcy and creditor harassment.
I handled a Chapter 13 bankruptcy where I stopped foreclosure, helped my client to catch up with past-due payments and eliminate credit card debt.
Another case involved filing a Florida Consumer Collection Practices Act case in order to stop harassment and recover $1,000 for a client. I also made the "bad" creditor pay all my attorneys' fees.

Leavengood and Nash, P.A. traces its roots back to 1972 in St, Petersburg, Florida and the Honorable Charles Richard Leavengood. In June of 1978, after graduating from the University of Florida, College of Law, Judge Leavengood's son Richard Timothy Leavengood returned home to join his father in the practice of law. Leavengood & Leavengood refocused its efforts on serving the Tampa Bay community's legal needs. For the next several years, this father and son firm practiced in the areas of real estate, wills, trusts, probate, estate planning and wealth management. In 1997, I attended the University of Florida to obtain my law degree. In 2003, several years after graduating from Levin College of Law, I joined my father at Leavengood & Leavengood. Charged with growing the practice, I brought Christopher Charles Nash aboard, forming Leavengood & Nash, P.A., and expanded the firm's areas of law.
Drawing upon a wide array of education and experiences, I am dedicated to helping my clients in a wide variety of contexts. I handle consumer bankruptcy law, including creditor rights and collections as well as criminal defense and DUI. I also work in the areas of business disputes, litigation, business formation, family law and divorce, personal injury and accident litigation and wills, trusts and probate. It is my mission to provide unparalleled client service to the Tampa Bay community by thoroughly understanding my clients' needs. I provide compassionate, personalized, accurate and affordable representation.
