What is your opinion regarding clients educating themselves on legal issues?
I believe it is highly important for clients to be knowledgeable on the legal issues concerning their cases. The more informed they are, the more likely it is that their case will have a successful outcome.
Are you willing to review documents prepared by clients?
Due to the bankruptcy laws, I do not review bankruptcy documents prepared by clients. I will, however, review other types of documents, including contracts, estate planning documents and miscellaneous business documents.
Are you willing to coach clients who want to represent themselves?
Abraham Lincoln once said that a man who represents himself has a fool for a client. Therefore, I encourage people to never represent themselves and only advise my own clients.
Why did you decide to be a lawyer?
I find it to be very rewarding to assist people in resolving their debt and other legal issues. I also learn something new every day.
What work experience and education helps you be a better lawyer?
Like most people, I have my bills to pay on a regular basis. I empathize with my clients who need help in resolving their debt issues.
Why did you decide on your primary area of practice?
Bankruptcy law is one of the few areas of the law that people get through with a smile on their face knowing that they have taken control of their debts and resolved their debt problems.
What do you like best about your career?
I enjoy assisting people in resolving debt issues. I learn something new everyday and have made a lot of new friendships along the way.
Tell us about your law firm:
I have great staff members who are attentive to our clients' needs. All clients deal directly with myself or another attorney. We return phone calls promptly and are committed to making our clients as stress free as possible while regarding their legal issues.

I am accessible to clients and diligent in my representation.
