We have represented hundreds of foreign nationals from Taiwan, Japan, China, Vietnam, India, England, France, Germany, Australia and many other countries around the world in their nonimmigrant visa and green card applications. The clients we have represented include large high tech corporations, start-ups, non-profit organizations, government entities and individuals.
The Law Office of Jessie Ho has been handling immigration cases since 1990, and we care about the client as a person, not just one of the cases in the office! We have been assisting clients with the process of:
• becoming a U.S. Citizen
• bringing a loved one to the U.S.
• coming to the U.S. for employment
• getting the green card
In 1990, I began my legal career working as an associate attorney before establishing my own practice, which has been providing high quality and personalized legal services for over 18 years.
I participated in the Pro Bono Project, sponsored by the Santa Clara County Bar Association, and represented low-income clients in their immigration proceedings.
I served as AILA coordinator for filing of Adjustment of Status with San Jose INS from 1999 to 2001.
I currently volunteer as a Language Advocate/Translator for the Language Bank, an organization serving victims of domestic violence from five non-profit agencies in Santa Clara County.
I believe that the more educated the clients are on legal issues and processes, the better position they will be in deciding if they need attorney representation for their cases.
I will not review documents prepared by clients, but am willing to give consultation on specific issues they may have regarding their documents.
We are willing to provide legal consultation on immigration matters for those interested in representing themselves.
I decided to become a lawyer so that I could make a difference in other people's lives by helping them solve their problems and resolve their disputes.
My impeccable work as a result of expertise acquired through years of experience in the field is what makes me a better attorney.
Being an immigrant myself, I have personally gone through the entire immigration process and understand the needs of new immigrants, as well as their fear and anxiety while going through the process.
The best reward we get for our hard work is referrals from happy clients. We also enjoy seeing the smile on a client's face when they get their green card.
I am a solo practitioner and always make it my top priority to return client emails and phone calls within 24 hours. I keep close contact with a small group of experienced immigration attorneys and we regularly meet and discuss various issues incurred in our practices.
My thorough research of immigration laws and procedures, careful assessment of the cases, and regular communication with clients are some of my strengths.
I enjoy gardening, playing piano, and reading.
