The MVP Law Group was founded in April 2003. We are an innovative law firm that represents businesses and individuals within the United States and throughout the world in the area of U.S. Immigration and Nationality Law. The MVP Law Group prides itself on its superior client service, technical expertise, high-quality work, years of experience with a concentration in business immigration law, strict personal/professional ethics, and creative problem-solving ability.
Immigration is a very complex and constantly changing area of law. For this reason it is important that business owners and individuals seek knowledgeable legal counsel before initiating immigration matters for themselves, their family members, their current employees or their future employees. At the MVP Law group, we boast an exceptionally high approval rating on all cases filed. This is a direct result of our highly trained staff of legal professionals that are always up to date with the latest trends in business immigration law, statutes, regulations, case law and policy. We believe in keeping caseloads at a manageable size, thereby giving each client the attention and concern they deserve, and allowing our staff to prepare cases in a proactive and efficient manner. We provide high-quality legal services by placing a premium on flexibility, state-of-the-art technology, personal integrity and a philosophy in which the clients' needs are paramount.
Our office welcomes all new clients. While the MVP Law Group's primary focus is business immigration law, our office does accept cases involving marriage and family based immigration and green cards, fiancé petitions, and naturalization.
Business Immigration Practice
Our business immigration practice's focus is to aid corporate clients, entrepreneurs, scientific and research organizations, hospitals, teaching institutions and individuals interested in investing in U.S.-based ventures in obtaining temporary employment visas and permanent resident status (green cards). The following is a list of employment and investment-based immigration services that we provide to our clients:
Temporary Visas (Non-Immigrant Visas) Permanent Employment Visas (Permanent Resident Cards or Green Cards)
Family Based Immigration
In addition to the aforementioned business immigration services, our firm provides individuals legal services to individuals who are petitioning for their spouses, parents, children, and siblings.
Naturalization and Citizenship
The MVP Law Group also represents clients in naturalization and citizenship matters.
I have a strong interest in international law and business. As a law student at American University, I clerked for the Special Trade Negotiator for The Office of the United States Trade Representative. I began my tenure in immigration law in 1998 as a law clerk for a business immigration firm in Silver Spring, Maryland. I continued working in the immigration field after graduating law school in 2000 and worked as an associate attorney with a small full service law firm in Rockville Maryland where I handled cases dealing with business immigration, family-based immigration, asylum, and deportation. Thereafter, in late 2002, I worked as an associate attorney for a mid-sized immigration law firm in the Baltimore Metropolitan Area heading up their labor certification practice. In Spring 2003, I established my own law practice that emphasizes superior client service, high-quality work, and creative problem-solving ability.
In addition to my legal background, I have extensive business development experience that I utilize to help advise my corporate and entrepreneurial clientèle. My experience includes building and developing a successful law firm, a real estate development company, and several companies providing information technology solutions over a spectrum of industries.
I believe clients should educate themselves on issues pertaining to their legal needs. An educated and properly-informed client will be able to make decisions pertaining to their case that most appropriately suit their needs and goals. However, while I admire and respect clients who research immigration issues, immigration law is very complex and is constantly evolving. For this reason it is important in most cases that individuals seek knowledgeable legal counsel before initiating immigration matters.
I cannot review documents that a client intends on filing on his or her own. When an attorney reviews documents, he or she assumes responsibility for that case on some level. As an attorney, I am bound to ensure that all documentation is completed accurately and thoroughly within the confines of certain legal standards. Therefore, I would prefer to be involved in the documentation preparation process.
I am willing to provide an initial consultation, to discuss options, problems, procedures, and recommendations as they relate to a person's specific case. Additionally, I am willing to assist my clients in representing themselves at interviews before the immigration services. In such cases, I conduct mock interviews so that the client knows what to expect.
I decided to be a lawyer to help people maintain their rights.
I am an immigrant myself. I experienced the immigration process first hand. Moreover, I have extensive business development experience that I utilize to help advise my corporate and entrepreneurial clientèle. My experience includes building and developing a successful law firm, a real estate development company, and several companies providing information technology solutions over a spectrum of industries. This experience has helped me to develop a work ethic that is based on superior client service, technical expertise, strict personal and professional ethics, and creative problem-solving ability.
I like learning about new cultures and interacting with people from all walks of life. Therefore, immigration law was a natural fit.
The best thing about my career is making a difference and keeping families together.
I am a solo practitioner, but I have a great team that consists of four paralegals and one law clerk. They all have considerable immigration law experience under their belts. At the MVP Law group, we boast an exceptionally high approval rating on all cases filed. This is a direct result of our highly trained staff of legal professionals that are always up to date with the latest trends in immigration law, statutes, regulations, case law and policy. We believe in keeping caseloads at a manageable size; thereby giving each client the attention and concern they deserve, and allowing our staff to prepare cases in a proactive and efficient manner. We provide high-quality legal services by placing a premium on flexibility, state-of-the-art technology, personal integrity and a philosophy in which the client's needs are paramount.
I believe in keeping an open line of communication with my clients. Therefore, I am very accessible to my clients and make an effort to return their calls or emails within a day. I am very honest and direct and will explain the strengths and weaknesses of each case to my clients. I have strong advocacy skills and believe in assessing each case on its own merit, thereby presenting the strongest case possible.
I enjoy traveling to new countries, learning about other cultures, sports, working out, and watching movies.
