What is your opinion regarding clients educating themselves on legal issues?

The important part of our job is assuring that our clients understand the plan we prepare, so they can make good estate planning decisions. The better informed they are, the more effective we work.

Are you willing to review documents prepared by clients?

We often deal with clients who have completed part of an estate plan or have an out of date plan.

Are you willing to coach clients who want to represent themselves?

We often help clients with trust administration.

Why did you decide to be a lawyer?

I enjoy assisting clients in solving current problems and avoiding future problems. Estate and tax planning provides security and peace of mind to families.

What work experience and education helps you be a better lawyer?

Four years experience in a major international accounting firm and certification as a CPA has allowed me to provide more useful and accurate advice to my clients.

Why did you decide on your primary area of practice?

I discovered a natural aptitude for tax planning while in law school. My work in the accounting firm developed and refined my skills.

What do you like best about your career?

I like having the opportunity to help my clients plan for the future security of their families.

Tell us about your law firm:

I have been married to my law partner for over 30 years and have practiced law with him for more than a decade. We are in constant communication about our clients.

What are your strengths and style?

I can quickly assimilate facts and situations enabling me to identify the issues underlying a client's concerns. I then can ask questions to elicit the necessary information.

Personal Interests:
