I started practicing law in El Paso in 1972. Over the course of time I have handled many business deals, securities law, business bankruptcy, farm bankruptcy and personal bankruptcy. Our firm focuses on Bankruptcy Chapter 7, 13 and 11. We help people and businesses that are in a financial quagmire find debt relief.
I have always been in private practice. Prior to starting my practice in El Paso I practiced law in Dallas, TX for several years. In Dallas my focus was on securities law.

In my opinion only a client that understands the legal implications of a decision can make a well informed decision. To help every client that comes into our office we provide a packet of information on: What is Bankruptcy, Guidelines for a Successful Bankruptcy, Frequently Asked Questions and a List of Bankruptcy Expenses.
I will review documents prepared by clients for a fee.
I choose not to take on clients that want to represent themselves.
I believed being an attorney would allow me to help people and make a difference. I have a competitive nature and I enjoy using the power of words to win battles for my clients.
Frankly, many years ago I made some poor decisions and as a result I had to file bankruptcy. I know from personal experience how it feels to go through this process and this allows me to help every client with empathy and compassion.
I take pleasure in using the law to help people and businesses regroup financially and get a fresh start. We are all human and to be human is to err.
I find the varied routine and the challenging work is what I enjoy most about the practice of Bankruptcy Law. Ultimately, my efforts make a difference in people's lives and that is what I like best.
I am a sole practitioner and as a result all my clients receive personal service. I have a wonderful assistant; she is bilingual, well organized and well versed in Bankruptcy Law. We have the latest computers and software which ensures accuracy and efficiency.
I believe my strengths are: being an expert in bankruptcy law, having a competitive nature, I have a strong courtroom presence; I am upfront, a straight shooter and work hard for every client.
Next to my law practice, I swim 3/4 of a mile 6 days a week to keep in shape. Most of all, I love spending time with my family, our 3 dogs, 3 cats (all rescue animals) and our bird - Beso.
