What is your opinion regarding clients educating themselves on legal issues?

It is important that clients educate themselves as much as possible on the legal issues involved so that they can make choices and decisions that may affect them.

Are you willing to review documents prepared by clients?

I will be glad to review documents prepared by clients but I have found after 31 years that many of the client prepared documents need substantial revisions.

Are you willing to coach clients who want to represent themselves?

I have coached many clients on small claims court appearances. Other than that I have not been asked.

Why did you decide to be a lawyer?

To learn the law and to service people in need of legal services.

What work experience and education helps you be a better lawyer?

I gained my work ethic from working in my dad's clothing business from the age of 8 on. I also worked for the county and state governments during college and law school. These experiences shaped my devotion to the law.

Why did you decide on your primary area of practice?

Having come from a business family I chose to stay in the business and real estate areas.

What do you like best about your career?

Resolving and working through legal issues for my clients and obtaining positive results whether through litigation or negotiations.

Tell us about your law firm:

I have three other attorneys as well as two legal assistants working in the firm. Our motto is to provide our clients with good service which means returning calls and corresponding in a timely manner.

What are your strengths and style?

An example of my style is that I or members of my firm take as many calls from people inquiring about the need for legal services and analyzing whether this office can ultimately help. When people call a lawyer they usually need help.

Personal Interests:

Skiing, boating, traveling.
