My firm handles estates of all sizes and complexity. We specialize in the areas of estate planning, trust and estate administration, real estate and corporate law. Services include counseling and preparation of revocable and irrevocable trusts, wills, durable powers of attorney, living wills, health care surrogates, prenuptial agreements, family limited partnerships, real estate transactions, and corporate documents.
I have been practicing law since 1992 and I established my law firm in 1995.
Graduated from the University of Florida, Phi Beta Kappa. I have lectured on various topics of estate planning. I am listed in the "Who's Who in Executives and Businesses" 2000 Edition and "International Who's Who in Executives and Businesses" 1996 Edition.
Knowledge is power, and it is often helpful when a client researches their legal issues ahead of time. Research on legal issues should be used as a guide to assist the client, however, the client should consult with an attorney prior to making final decisions.
I am willing to do it, but under most circumstances, I would recommend that legal documents be prepared by an attorney.
I am reluctant to do so. The estate planning documents that I deal with are usually complex enough that I wouldn't recommend clients prepare them by themselves.
I became an attorney because of my desire to help people. I feel that this is an area of law where you can really help clients and provide options that they may not be aware of but are necessary to implement their plans and carry out their wishes.
I have been practicing in this area of law for over 12 years. I believe that my experience dealing with a wide variety of clients and circumstances gives me a good perspective for evaluating different clients' needs.
Estate Planning encompasses a variety of concerns that most people will deal with in their life. They know that it needs to get done, but many people will put it off. When we complete signing the Estate Planning documents, clients are relieved and happy. I enjoy getting clients to this place.
I enjoy the process of helping people plan the details of their future and seeing the personal satisfaction they get when they reach their goals.
I deal with all of my clients individually. This helps a long-term relationship grow. This personal interaction is very important to my clients as well as to me, and I have been recommended to many of my clients' family members and friends.
I am honest, straightforward, and caring when dealing with my clients. I believe in making subjects that may be difficult for some people to deal with as easy and as pleasant as possible.
Most of my spare time is spent with my wife and two daughters (ages 3 and 6).
