My practice also includes counseling clients and negotiating uncontested settlement agreements.

Why did you decide to be a lawyer?

At the age of ten, I read an article about Sandra Day O'Connor.

Handling only family law cases, limiting my case load, and attending MCLE's.

Why did you decide on your primary area of practice?

A close friend, Anne E. Lewis, got me interested in family law.

What do you like best about your career?

I control my hours, how many clients I take and what cases I accept.

I have three very competent paralegals, who assist me with my cases. My office manager maintains the business and is invaluable to me.

What are your strengths and style?

Organized, strong advocator - but not by yelling.
