I encourage clients to educate themselves. The better informed the client is, the better they can communicate their needs and wishes to me and the better I can represent them.
It depends. As a litigator, I normally do not find myself reviewing documents prepared by clients.
Since I am a litigator, I do not often find myself in a position where I am able to coach a client through the litigation process. I do not recommend that clients attempt to handle complex litigation on their own.
I like the challenge and complexity of the law. I am fascinated with the law and how the law is applied to different situations and disputes. I also enjoy negotiating resolutions to disputes.
It is the complexity of the issues which I face on a day to day basis that makes me a better lawyer. Realizing that each client may have a unique set of objectives and attempting to realize each client's unique objectives has made me a better lawyer.
My areas of practice are business litigation, employment law, and personal injury law. I have always enjoyed the complexity and challenges of these practice areas.
I like striving to help my clients reach resolution to their problems.
I am part of a two lawyer firm. Each of my clients interacts directly with me. I am involved with all aspects of each case I agree to accept.
I am very analytical. I am also very persistent. I pride myself in seeing things through to their conclusion.
My family. I coach my two young sons in soccer and baseball. I enjoy traveling when time permits.
