I was one of the founding members and past president of the California Deuce Defenders Association, an organization of lawyers devoted to the aggressive defense of persons accused of driving while intoxicated (DUI). I obtained the first not-guilty verdict after the new .08 blood alcohol level threshold was put in place, making the consequences of drinking and driving more severe than ever. In that case and many others, I have been able to show juries, judges and law enforcement personnel when their evidence has been insufficient, inconsistent, or illegally obtained.

I can also make most appearances for out-of-state or foreign clients who have been cited in California and wish to hire me by long distance.

My office is conveniently located to serve clients in Northern & Central California including: Walnut Creek, Oakland, Vallejo, Fairfield, Napa, Fremont, Hayward, Concord, Martinez, Richmond, Susanville, Redding, Red Bluff and Contra Costa, Alameda, Solano, Shasta, Lassen, and Tehama counties. However, I am also willing and able to travel throughout northern and central California, or rural southern California.
