Example Cases
I recently represented a mother of a five year old child who wanted to have the dependency court ordered visitation terminated with the presumed father of the child who was a convicted child molester. The interim order of the court has been to terminate the visitation pending a full evaluation of the child's situation and a determination of what is in the best interest of the child.
In another case, which I just concluded, I represented the respondent in a case that was in trial when I entered. I was able to get a mistrial declared, and the case was just settled with my client receiving $120,000. I was the ninth attorney my client contacted and the first to agree to take his case. Without representation, the client most likely would have received nothing.

Why did you decide to be a lawyer?
I retired from business in 1995. I had always wanted to become an attorney. In 1999, I discovered Concord Law School. It was a cost effective vehicle for me to use, and I did so.

All of my previous work experience in various industries, such as:
Beverage & Alcohol, computer, China Joint ventures, and industrial real estate field contribute to making be a better lawyer.
Why did you decide on your primary area of practice?
I have always been a generalist in everything I have ever done. My first lawyers in 1966/67 were generalists, and they served me very well.

The breadth of the experiences I have had.
