I attend continuing legal education on immigration law and criminal defense.
An alien was under a final order of Removal based on a charge of statutory rape. We filed a writ of habeas corpus in state court and we succeeded in reducing the charge to contributing to the delinquency of a minor. We had the immigration case reopened and he was granted Residency.
A resident alien was charged with removability based on a narcotics conviction and a theft conviction. We dismissed the narcotics conviction and we successfully terminated the deportation proceedings because he was not removable based on only one misdemeanor theft crime.

Our firm, established in 1995, specializes in deportation defense for aliens charged with deportation for criminal offenses. We pursue post-conviction relief to avoid or ameliorate the immigration consequences of crimes. We also represent criminal aliens who are charged with crimes and we represent them in criminal court to avoid deportation/removal proceedings.
Worked with the Law Office of Brenden Conroy on homicide cases doing briefs and legal motions.
I do pro bono work for the American Immigration Lawyers Association including but not limited to aliens in custody.
