I attend continuing legal education seminars in Immigration Law.
In the area of business immigration (both temporary and permanent employment), I have had numerous referrals on an ongoing basis from some of the largest employers in the area, in addition to small companies wishing to legalize only a single employer. I have represented government entities, wineries, restaurants, public and private schools, and numerous small companies.

I specialize in all types of family petitions, business immigration including PERM, naturalization, and consular processing. I have been practicing as a sole practitioner specializing in immigration since 1995.
Two years with a general practice law firm, prior government civil service work.
None.
Clients who have done their own research usually have a perspective on the issues which an immigration case presents. However, they often come to be, since once they've done a little background investigation, they realize how confusing and daunting the immigration process can be, and realize that it makes more sense to consult a legal professional.
I am willing to review and offer suggestions, once a client has prepared the case, at a charge of an hourly rate.
I usually do not do this, out of concern that the client may misinterpret what I've told them.
I wanted the intellectual challenge and wanted to practice in an area which I felt was inclined to help people.
My enjoyment of foreign languages and cultures makes me a better lawyer, since these are interests which pre-dated my becoming a lawyer.
Interest in foreign languages and cultures and an interest in helping people.
It is very rewarding once a client receives the end goal--permanent residence or citizenship.
I am a sole practitioner and very accessible to all my clients. I do all interviews and preparation of cases. My assistant, Anayelle has initial telephone contact and reception duties, maintains my schedule, and has become very knowledgeable in filing and general procedures.
I am not only very experienced and knowledgeable in all aspects of immigration law, but have always maintained a compassionate approach. M practice has grown by referrals over the years and I personally have built my reputation on my hard work and skill.
Environmental issues, especially wildlife conservation, animals (especially my pets), working out at the gym (aerobics classes and weight training), reading, gardening, music.
