Firm Focus and History

The firm was formed in mid 2006, and enjoys over 50 years of combined legal experience between all of the attorneys at the firm. We are one of a handful of law firms practicing in California who can actually assist clients effectively and with reasonable flat fees for loan modification, repayment plans, rate freezes, deed in lieu of foreclosure, short sales and other work-out options that do not involve bankruptcy. Few law firms are set up to negotiate with lenders for such work-outs but we are and we are able to ethically help people either stay in their homes…or walk away from them. Our attorneys and experienced loss mitigators have worked with over 220 lenders and we have an inside track into the various appropriate work-out departments. If bankruptcy is an option for you we will let you know, but we will help guide you to which option is best for you, we will not push you to bankruptcy if you can accomplish your goals without it.

Our firm's diversified practice areas and experience in all areas enable us to offer customized legal solutions to many legal issues involving both businesses and individuals. From estate planning to business and corporate law matters, to contract drafting and protecting intellectual property, to obtaining a patent or assistance with short sales, foreclosures or bankruptcy we have got you covered.

Previous Employment Summary

Our attorneys have a wide range of previous legal experience, from top bay area large law firms, to small solo practices in the suburbs.

Activities and Awards

What is your opinion regarding clients educating themselves on legal issues?

We think that it is great when clients have educated themselves on legal issues. A client who knows some of the law, or knows what they are looking to do is a fantastic client to work with. We fully support programs and publications that educate the public about important legal matters. However, we also realize that some people do not have the time or the desire to educate themselves and would prefer that we tell them what they need to know and do. That works just as well for both parties.

Are you willing to review documents prepared by clients?

Our firm is willing to review documents prepared by clients in certain circumstances.

Are you willing to coach clients who want to represent themselves?

We are willing to coach clients on a case by case basis and in situations where we feel that the client is able to appropriately represent their best interests. However, the areas of law we practice don't generally lend themselves to this type of representation.

Why did you decide to be a lawyer?

I chose to be an attorney after watching many friends and family members in situations where attorney interaction was either a life saver or a very bad experience. I wanted to be a positive aspect to clients in every legal situation. I also wanted to be affordable, with attainable services for all income brackets. This desire was what lead me to eventually start my own law firm.

What work experience and education helps you be a better lawyer?

Our attorneys attended strong undergraduate schools known for their rigor. They then attended strong law schools, ones that pride themselves on arming its law students with the breadth and depth of knowledge, as well as the power and ability to obtain knowledge in any situation for any client no matter how simple or complex the case may be. Our attorneys' education combined with their work experience has given them the tools that they need to be great lawyers with continued improvement.

Why did you decide on your primary area of practice?

The areas of Estate Planning, Business Law, Bankruptcy, Real Estate and Intellectual Property law are intricately involved and are critical to many components of people's lives. I find them fascinating and I enjoy meeting the different people that have come into my life because of these specialties.

What do you like best about your career?

Our attorneys really enjoy being able to help others navigate through the complex myriad of rules and regulations. We think it is unfortunate that attorneys have such a negative impression in so many people's minds and we like to think that after our clients experience working with us, their impression has changed. We have been told many times that this is indeed the case!

Tell us about your law firm:

We have a wonderful team of experienced, friendly and competent attorneys and a great support team who makes our office run smoothly.

What are your strengths and style?

All of our attorneys are extremely thorough and detail oriented. Even if they have done something many times, they will still take the time and do the research to make sure that the solution is the best one and is being done the right way. We are firm believers in quick turnaround time without sacrificing perfection, and we take pride in surprising the client when we return the work to them quickly.

We believe in getting to thoroughly know the client so that we can better assist them. We will send out client questionnaires applicable to the matter prior to every meeting so that our time spent together is mutually beneficial. We listen to what the client wants.

Personal Interests:

All of our attorneys are active both in their personal and professional lives. On the weekends we can be found with our families wine tasting in Napa, skiing in Tahoe or wakeboarding on the Delta!
