Why did you decide to be a lawyer?

I have always been interested in the law.

What work experience and education helps you be a better lawyer?

Working for a judge allowed me a unique perspective from inside the courthouse and helped me to understand the other issues that may lurk.

Why did you decide on your primary area of practice?

Estate planning sort of chose me...I found that after doing it, I enjoyed it.

I like solving problems for people and helping them achieve their goals.

My paralegal, Julie, has been doing estate planning and probate for over 17 years.

What are your strengths and style?

In addition to estate planning, probate, and business law, I also handle a lot of appeals, which gives me a unique ability to spot and anticipate issues that may arise.

I am laid back but professional.

I am on the board of directors at the local airport and I am interested in flying. I am also interested in agriculture and the arts.
