The more clients know about their endeavors the better. An educated client makes the tasks of the attorney easier to understand and implement.
I will generally review documents prepared by clients unless it is obvious that an attorney prepared document will meet their needs better.
It depends on what is meant by "represent themselves." In negotiations the client may be fully capable of self representation, however, I would not coach clients wishing to litigate for themselves except in small claims matter.
I enjoyed Law School.
44 years of collecting a diversified array of experiences is better than any formal education, however, it is essential to maintain proficiency through continuing education.
I started my career with a mentor that practiced in the fields of law that I have chosen. He taught me how to practice and showed me the interesting aspects of our chosen fields.
I enjoy working with clients to achieve goals that they have set for themselves and their businesses.
I have an assistant with paralegal skills.
My expertise is working with clients to solve their problems and resolve their needs.
I am non-confrontational.
My personal interests include cooking, wine collecting, sailing, skiing, youth programs such as Boy Scouts and the Marine Science Institute, my church and my local hospital.

The great lawyer answer: That Depends!
Attorneys have passed a licensing check. Nolo has confirmed that every member attorney has a valid license and is in good standing with the applicable bar associations upon joining the directory.
Directory lawyers are required to notify Nolo immediately if they become the subject of any disciplinary action by any bar association.
