After thirty-two years of legal experience in the areas of securities law, tax law, civil litigation, transactional situations and family law, as well as experience as a Certified Public Accountant, I have attained an extensive background and pool of knowledge from which I can provide legal services to those in need of a lawyer and/or consultant.

Why did you decide to be a lawyer?

I wanted to be in the mainstream of political and social activity and change and to do work that brought satisfaction and a sense of accomplishment.

I worked as a CPA prior to and during law school.

Why did you decide on your primary area of practice?

I was able to integrate my financial expertise with the issues presented in divorce cases.

What do you like best about your career?

What I like best is working with interesting lawyers, clients, judges and experts; coming up with innovative ways to solve problems; accomplishing difficult objectives.

After many years of heading my own firm which included two offices, four lawyers and four non-lawyers, I have become a sole practitioner and reduced my caseload to a manageable level of high-quality cases and clients.

What are your strengths and style?

My ability to work with opposing counsel, judges, experts and court personnel; my ability to focus on objectives and not get distracted by irrelevant problems; my ability to get the facts; my ability to resolve issues to the client's benefit and avoid litigation whenever possible.
