What is your opinion regarding clients educating themselves on legal issues?
It is very important for a client to understand the ramifications of NOT planning their estate, and for a general understanding of the tax laws in relation to passing their wealth during life or at death. With some basic knowledge, a client will be much more inclined to pay closer attention to their estate plan.

Why did you decide to be a lawyer?
I became a lawyer because I am passionate about the law and helping people find effective legal solutions for their real-world problems.
What work experience and education helps you be a better lawyer?
I have had intensive experience in estate planning right from the start of my legal career. I have learned more in the first years of practicing law than many staff attorneys learn in their careers. I have managed probates from beginning to end, appeared in court on a variety of probate and trust matters, and drafted estate plans for all types of issues.
Why did you decide on your primary area of practice?
I love estate planning because it provides people with some control over their hard-earned assets, and the peace of mind that their families will be taken care of in the future.
What do you like best about your career?
I am very satisfied when a client leaves my office and says "Now I can have some peace of mind knowing I have done this."

We are committed to making the estate planning process efficient and understandable. We give each client the care and attention they deserve in what can be a delicate and emotional process.
What are your strengths and style?
I take pride in being able to explain complicated legal issues in a common sense way. I also make it a point to be available to clients in person and by phone, and to return phone calls promptly.
My style is organized, empathetic and aggressive in representing client's needs.

Estate plan packages start at $1,200 for a single person trust, up to $3,500 for advanced plans and business formation services. Simple Wills are $600, and Powers of Attorney are $150 each.
