I complete all of my continuing education hours.
I handled a three-day custody trial where the mother was breastfeeding her 3 1/2 year-old child and using the breastfeeding to minimize the father's contact with the child. Following trial, my client went from a 16-hour per week custody agreement to a 50-50.
In another case I handled, a husband was stalking his ex-wife. He would use his children's keys to go into the home and fumble through the ex-wife's personal belongings. We were able to install a security camera and catch husband on tape. My client received a restraining order against the husband, full sole legal custody of children, and criminal charges against her ex-husband for stalking.

The firm focuses on family law, probate and bankruptcy. I practice primarily in Santa Clara County, and occasionally in San Mateo and Alameda Counties. I consider myself to be the people's lawyer—I practice the law that affects people's daily lives.
I have been a sole practitioner for 15 years.
I serve as a judge pro tem for the Superior Court in family law. I have also been appointed by a judge to represent children as an attorney advocate. In addition, I often take pro bono cases, representing guardians from the Legal Advocates of Children and Youth.
I believe clients are a consumer of legal services, and as such, clients should interview as many attorneys as possible to ensure that the attorney best fits the client's needs. This offices goes to the greatest extent to prepare clients for what they can expect in their legal proceeding. When clients have questions or want to obtain information, we respond accordingly.
Yes, depending on the circumstances.
No.
I wanted to advocate for people's rights and help the underdog.
I was fortunate to have two parents who are professionals and encouraged us to take any course necessary to obtain an education. Also, I was always devoted to helping people.
I work in the areas of law that impact people's daily lives.
I like best the rewards I receive when I complete a case and see the client down the road. They don't forget--the bulk of my business is from former clients and referrals.
I have a wonderful staff here. I have a secretary who I don't see as a secretary but as a friend, and a paralegal who is dynamite. We strive to meet the needs of our clients on a daily basis so that we can get each case completed efficiently and effectively.
My unique strength is my honesty, my forthrightness, and my directness.
I do not sugarcoat--I am direct.
I enjoy traveling, my family, and friends.
