The Law Offices of Robert A. Goodman was established in 1997. We focus on helping people get through a very difficult time in the quickest, most painless matter. We specialize in all aspects of family law including divorce, child custody and visitation, child and spousal support, and property division. We offer top quality, highly effective representation. We are easily accessible to all of our clients and combine zealous advocacy with compassionate representation in assisting each client in meeting his/her goals.

I decided to be a lawyer because I wanted to be able to make a difference in people's lives.

My experience as a Family Law Attorney for over nine years and the hundreds of hours of family law continuing education classes that I have attended help me to be a better lawyer.

Why did you decide on your primary area of practice?

I wanted to practice in a specialty that requires a great deal of skill in counseling people going through a very difficult period in their lives.

What do you like best about your career?

I love making a difference in people's lives.

Tell us about your law firm:

I have three superb associates who primarily handle the complex litigation cases. We often work on cases as a team, resulting in better results at a lower cost for the client.

What are your strengths and style?

My unique strength and expertise is my knowledge of the law combined with an ability to help clients understand the cost/benefit of their decisions.

I prefer resolving disputes through mediation and collaborative law. Litigation should be used as a last resort.
