Why did you decide to be a lawyer?
I decided to become a lawyer because it provided the greatest opportunity to help individuals solve problems.
What work experience and education helps you be a better lawyer?
I spent 17 years as an executive for corporations in Boston, New York, San Francisco, San Diego and Houston before going into a private law practice twelve years ago. This corporate experience gives me a unique perspective when working with clients and closely held family businesses. My focus is estate planning, probate, conservatorship and small business formation/succession.
Why did you decide on your primary area of practice?
I decided on my specialty because I am dedicated to providing highly personalized estate planning counsel to families, individuals and businesses.
What do you like best about your career?
I like best helping people. There is nothing I least like at this time about my career.
