I have spent more than 30 years helping to resolve the issues that arise when a marriage ends. I represent my clients in all aspects of family law, including divorce, child custody, and spousal and child support matters.

What is your opinion regarding clients educating themselves on legal issues?
I believe an attorney should educate his clients so that that they understand enough to participate meaningfully in processing their cases.

As long as they are my client's, I have no problem with this.
Are you willing to coach clients who want to represent themselves?
Unfortunately, I do not have time for this worthy enterprise.
Why did you decide to be a lawyer?
I became a lawyer to help people in need.
What work experience and education helps you be a better lawyer?
I have almost 40 years of practice.
Why did you decide on your primary area of practice?
I found that family law required more skill than other branches of law.
What do you like best about your career?
I like helping people in need when they are at their most vulnerable and at their worst.
Tell us about your law firm:
I am a solo practitioner and handle all of my cases personally. I use other experts extensively to supplement my services where they can be performed with more expertise at a lower cost.
What are your strengths and style?
My strength is creative solutions, being able to deal with difficult people, and tremendous experience in handling all aspects of a divorce case from beginning to end.
I am firm, aggressive and creative, but fair and compassionate.
