My preference is that my clients and I form "partnerships" to successfully resolve their cases.

Certified Criminal Law Specialist
California Supreme Court, United States District Court for the Northern District of California
State Bar of California, Bar Association of San Francisco, San Mateo Bar Association
Every year, I attend at least 25 hours of continuing legal education. Daily, I review new cases decided by the appellate courts.
I am the founder of Legal InCite, LLC. Legal InCite produced continuing legal education programs offered over commercial radio.
Case #1: I represented a client charged with murder. She was accused of stabbing the victim 49 times. I thoroughly researched the law and investigated the case such that my client avoided a prison sentence.
Case #2: I represented a client charged with rape. The charges were based solely on the word of the prosecution. At trial, I presented evidence of the "victim's" dishonesty. The jury acquitted my client.

I focus 100 percent of my practice on representing people accused of crimes.
I have spent the entirety of my twenty six year career representing people charged with crimes. I was, for many years, a head attorney in the San Francisco Public Defender's Office. I was responsible for ensuring that minors charged with serious felonies received outstanding representation.
I am adjunct professor at Golden Gate University School of Law, where I teach criminal law litigation.
I am on the faculty of the National Institute for Trial Advocacy (NITA), where I teach other lawyers trial skills.
Annually, I am invited to teach trial skills at the University Of San Francisco School of Law Trial Advocacy Program.
It is vital each client understands the pending charges, the possible defenses, the risks and rewards of trying his or her case. I carefully explain the legal issues and provide written material for my clients to ensure they are well informed.
Absolutely, I am willing to review documents prepared by clients.
Criminal law has become increasingly tedious and punitive. Therefore, I do not coach people who want to represent themselves. Instead, I recommend that anyone facing criminal charges seek qualified counsel.
I grew up in a household where helping others was expected and intelligent debate was encouraged. I suppose you can say that becoming a lawyer is in my DNA.
My clients make me a better lawyer! I am interested in their stories and aim to give them excellent representation.
I chose to become a criminal defense attorney to help people find their way out of an overbearing system.
I love my clients. I love the intellectual exercise the practice of law demands.
I have a part time assistant and law clerks to assist me with trial preparation. Also, when necessary, I work with other lawyers.
I am known for picking the prosecutors' pockets. I am also known for vigorous trial advocacy.
I am a passionate and dedicated counselor and advocate.
I enjoy hiking, dog training and reading.
