Why did you decide to be a lawyer?

I decided to be a lawyer to help people through their troubles.

My twenty-five years' experience practicing law and twelve years as a certified family law specialist is a huge key to being a better lawyer.

Why did you decide on your primary area of practice?

I enjoy trying to reduce the emotions involved in a family law case and trying to get my clients to focus on the issues of their case.

What I like best about my career is the interaction with my clients.

Tell us about your law firm:

My family law paralegal, Sue Roug, has over 35 years of legal experience, over 10 of which is family law experience, obtained her Paralegal Degree at Cal State Northridge in June of 1999, and is an Associate Member of the Los Angeles County Bar Association.

My legal assistant, Eva Warren, obtained her Certificate in Legal Assisting in May of 2001 and has almost 10 years' legal experience.

My law clerk, Adam Schanz, graduated from Pepperdine University School of Law in June 2006, and once he is admitted into the State Bar of California, will become an Associate Attorney in my firm.

What are your strengths and style?

We really care about our clients and help them through their personal crisis. Because of my 25 years of experience, I am able to offer my clients my expertise and compassion.

My style is personal and hands-on.
