We are located in the Mission Valley area of San Diego, California, with a primary focus on Family Law and related consumer law issues. These matters include divorce, child custody, child support, spousal support, paternity (determination of parentage), and division of property and real estate issues. The range of our services encompasses matters from parent and grandparent custody / visitation to domestic violence issues and government collection of child support. We have represented clients in interstate and international child custody and child support litigation. We also handle many of the legal issues that are a natural result of the divorce process, including defense against debt collectors and advice on bankruptcy questions, and landlord and tenant disputes and evictions.

I have been practicing for 14 years with the primary area of practice throughout my career being Family Law and associated issues. I have received a distinctive rating based on my skill and professionalism through a confidential peer review process of attorneys and judges in the San Diego area as the result of a poll conducted by Martindale Hubbell Publishing Company.
I was admitted to practice in 1992 and have been in private practice since I was admitted to the bar. I was actively engaged as a Real Estate agent in San Diego from 1988 on.
I am a member of the San Diego Volunteer Lawyer Program with the San Diego Superior Court, and a member of the Family Law section of the San Diego Bar Association.
I think it's an important and valuable thing for anyone to educate themselves on legal issues that impact their personal life. An understanding of one's own particular legal issue can assist in making the determination of whether an attorney is necessary and, if so, will make for better communication in the representation.
We are willing to meet with clients for an initial consultation and will happily review any documents presented at that time. However, except in certain limited circumstances, we do not generally assist in preparing documents for self-represented litigants.
We can consult with clients on an hourly basis and consultations can be scheduled and are charged at my hourly rate.
I became a lawyer to engage in a meaningful profession which would allow me to gain personal satisfaction from having a positive impact on the lives of the individuals with whom I would work.
I have a broad liberal arts background from my college experience. Because I began my legal career later in life, I have substantial experience in business and education, which has allowed me to develop strong interpersonal skills, including the ability to successfully negotiate and communicate with clients, judges, and other attorneys.
The issues with which a Family Law attorney deals have a direct and important impact on the lives and futures of the individuals with whom I work.
I like that I gain immense personal satisfaction from my ability to have a positive impact on people's lives.
We have 3 attorneys, a paralegal, and 2 administrative assistants. We are a strong team of caring individuals who have a combined total of over 30 years of Family Law experience.
My unique strength and expertise is my skill to effectively negotiate and settle cases because of my ability to litigate them if necessary.
My style is intense with a sense of humor.
I enjoy spending time with family & friends, my career, and a wide variety of activities aimed at self-improvement.
